Hypothetically speaking, if the conference expanded and the SEC asked A&M to move to the east (I have no idea why they would), discuss whether you would or wouldn't want to and why.

+easier schedule
+bigger chance to play for conference title
-recruiting takes a hit
-less TV exposure due to playing worse teams

If we combine pac12 and sec, I'm all for it.

So, 9 teams in the West and 7 in the East?

Based on your map, it makes as much since as Mizzou. Its East and West.

Nah. West or gtfo. Anything else would be a downgrade atm.

West takes mizzu and the Tennessee schools east takes the Alabama schools plus the two additions and both have 8 and I think it would be more balanced

Just dropped by to check on my A&M friends this morning. Aggies played a good game Saturday, it was a tough one. First off, I haven't heard of expansion plans in the SEC and I'm right in the heart of Bama. Secondly, would you really wanna move to the east? You've been around long enough now to know it's much harder to win the west but when you do, you've beaten the best in the country and your looking the national title game dead in the eye. I'm certain the east would be an easier road but the SEC added TA&M to the west for a reason, to make the west the absolute toughest sub-conference in college football and it's obvious it's worked. If you had a choice...which side would you prefer, east or west?
