Here's what you get for a lower completion %. Much of that % is from throwaways, which are good plays.
1. Good scrambler. He has been really good at avoiding sacks. Many times he not only avoids sacks, but also picks up first downs with both his arm and his legs.
2. Short memory. So far, he hasn't let slow starts affect his later decisions. He has gotten better in every game as the game progresses.
3. Great running qb. This has been overlooked, because I think the coaches really want to protect Trevor, but as the season progresses, his feet will be a huge weapon, as against Arky.
4. Great team leader. Already been hammered to death.
5. Very few turnovers. With the defense playing so well, this is huge. Punts are so much better than turnovers if your defense can make stops.
Trevor Knight has been a HUGE reason for the Ags' success, maybe the biggest offseason get in all college football.
