I used to be a big advocate of keeping that game.

I no longer see any advantage for A&M in returning to it as an annual game.

I would love to see that game played on Thanksgiving every year. It's a tradition.

I don't know why it's petty to want A&M to schedule non conference games that benefit them. I want our coaching, recruiting, scheduling, branding, marketing, athletic spending, etc to be done in a way that helps A&M become a consistent national power. If that's petty then I guess I'm guilty?

I agree with him, but they don't get to decide when the series starts again because they effectively dropped it. I say we offer to start playing them again when they are trash and we're good (like now).

I wouldn't want to be locked into any non conference opponent on an annual basis, but I would not be against an occasional home and home agreement.
