How long do you want to ignore this user?

Stanford @ Washington Friday night

Wisconsin @ Michigan Saturday

Louisville @ Clemson Saturday

Don't see any way the pac 12 loser could make it back in the picture. The Big 10 loser would have an outside shot, and the ACC loser would need a lot of things to go right as well.

Who ya got?

Give me Washington, Michigan, Loovuhl.

Washington is not good. No clue why they are rated so high. Stanford will win.

Michigan will handle Wiscy.

Clemson has looked very poor so far, so I will take the Action Jackson hype train and go with Louisville.

Stan, Mich (but will be pulling for Wiscy) and Looie

I like Washington at home (crowd will be crazy). 21-17

Michigan big. 35-14

Clemson at home. 38-35

Washington - Peterson knows how to get a squad ready for a game
Michigan - Pully for Wiscy though
Clemson - Death Valley is tough

Stanford eeks out 38-34. Gets just enough stops to win

I feel like michigan is gonna wax that ass by 17 or so. 34-17
But if Wisconsin can get some turnovers, like their defense has been doing, they got a real shot.

Louisville is gonna win this track meet. Whoever has the ball with 50 seconds left wins.

Does Washington have the defense to contain McCaffrey? That's the critical factor.

Michigan/Wisconsin is a toss-up. Turn-overs are the key there. Michigan has a history of one "WTH was that?" game a season where weird crap happens. (Last year was the Mich State game, IIRC.)

Clemson isn't the Clemson of last year and Petrino knows it. Louisville brings a complete game and gets a win here.

Any of those teams can lose, still win their conference and still make the playoff. There's still something like 350 Power 5 conference games left to be played.

I'll pick down ballot left side: Stanford, Wisconsin, and Louisville.

The loser of Ohio State-Michigan is still very much in playoff contention, especially if it's Ohio State.

That dominant road win at OU (who I bet still ends up winning the Big 12) will feature prominently.

Same goes for the loser of Clemson and Louisville if they win out.

I don't think Stanford or Wash can make it with a loss.

There has been a good point made. We have all these playoff games every week so we only need a final four team playoff.

Washington seems to handle RBs rather well (limiting most to under their game average); they seem to mostly struggle in run defense against mobile QBs.

of course they haven't faced a RB quite like McCaffery, so who's to know

Upset Alert:

Not mentioned but I think LSU may lose at home this week to Missouri.

Possibility of 2 B1G and 2 ACC teams fill the 4-team playoff format?

I don't think so, Tim.
