Breaking News:

Alabama, a team which has dominated the national title game the last decade and, as a result, is the hub of blue chip talent has had some players transfer.

In an interview with Coach Nick Saban, "We continue to be baffled by this. As a result of this trend, we have teams of people taking a detailed look at our recruiting practices. We fail to understand why 4 and 5 star players down in our two and three deep rosters aren't content with just riding the pine. We hope to have answers very soon."

In related news, coaches of other teams in the league have reported their rosters are completely full too of 4 and 5 star recruits, and expect no transfers to or from their programs.

Think what you want but I seriously doubt that's what Nick Saban is thinking.

This kid jumping in the middle of the season seems strange.
Whats the benefit to the kid to quit now vs the end of the year. He is only one play away from starting again.
He's probably mad Saban named him as starter so he didn't transfer already and then lost his job; or this was Satans plan all along to wait until it was too late for the kid to transfer and now the kid is really upset.

As recently as last year, Stidham and Grier.

He left mid-season cause the NCAA will let him play next year. Had he waited to the end of the season, he would have had to sit out next season.

Having said that, I do believe he quit on his team.

I don't remember QBs being the key to Bama championships.

Players and coaches come and go, but Bama remains.

Saban got called out on Mike & Mike this morning.
I guess he basically called Barnett a quitter for transferring.
They were reminding little Nicky that he 'quit' the Dolphins too.

Then you could have added the link for those of us who don't peruse ESiPN on a constant basis.
