The comparisons are obvious now. The angles taken toward defenders while in a downhill sprint are amazing. Shifty, instinctive, creative, fast, powerful. Heisman watch if he keeps this up.







Keith Ford and Trayveon Williams represent the best running back duo in the country, Maybe Lendale White and Reggie Bush 2005 USC team. Doesn't hurt to have a good dual threat quarterback in the country. With over 300 rushing yards between the White Knight and #5 against a good hog defense, it puts the Ags in elite territory. Say Auburn with Nick Marshall and Tre Mason 2013.

This guy is better than Goodson. But you may be missing the point that draws the Bush comparison. He moves like him. His running IQ is of the same caliber. Trayveon is the top rusher in FBS right now in ypc. That is because of the yards he creates in broken field running. Just look at the tape. It does not lie. If you don't believe your eyes look at the stats.

In my subjective opinion, Traveon is better than Farmer, Goodson, or CM at this stage of his career.

I watched Reggie Bush.. and Traveon does remind me a lot of RB. It's exciting when TW gets the ball as it was when RB got the ball.. and I'm talking Reggie Bush when he was at USC, not the Saints.

He kinda reminds me of Keith Woodside actually

And Keith Ford runs much stronger than many larger power backs we've had recently. Not naming names, but it's damn nice to have a guy that can lean forward for 2 yards carrying defenders along the way.

A couple of questions about our young fish RB :

What's his nickname ?

Do y'all think he will switch to # 3 after CK goes to the league in '17 after a Heisman or 2 ? Or is it 3 after the full 4 in '18 , leaving T-5 to probably stay # 5 for his full 4 in '19 ?

Either way we Good, mean say GREAT !

Gotta see a lot more. Christine Michael, Goodson, and Trey Williams all had more impressive carries than anything Traveon Williams has done so far. Not a knock against him, as all three of those guys were tremendously talented.

He's definitely off to a great start and has some great highlights. Appears to have good vision and earned the coaches trust to get big minutes in big games very quickly. Indicates that he has a good head on his shoulders, which in many cases is what separates the burger flipper from the ten year NFL running back.
