I just heard it on good authority that Myles will be resting for the SCe game bc:

1) he is hurt
2) SCe is pathetic
3) we will crush them regardless of all ears

Looking past an opponent is always a good strategy in college football.

Agreed. A virtual scrimmage against SC couldn't have come at a better time.

I'm looking past SCe because it will have ZERO affect on the game.

Against a nobody. We win by 30+ with a Fran team.

No easy ones in the SEC, especially on the road. He was able to tape it up and get back out there. Some of you guys are acting like he was carted off and never saw another snap.

This. If he is able to play then you play him. No easy games in the SEC, especially on the road. Get to Tennessee undefeated and Kyle will be rocking.

You definitely don't want to look past anybody, but we should be able to easily beat SC with a few of our back-ups playing. In the case of a once in a generation player like Myles, you get him ready for Tenn & Bama! Take a seat young man, your brothers got this one!

If there's anyone I'm going to trust to predict the outcome of a South Carolina game, it's Ian Neff!

So we are overlooking SC. Great! I predict a loss.

Our perspective has zero bearing, so I think it's all good.

I have encouraged the players to look past SCe.

Most of them didn't even know what I was talking about bc they were so focused on relaxing until TN.

Would not enjoy watching A&M look like these other schools struggling against teams they should dominate

Ok, tough guy. I've had many ankle injuries, and they are almost always worse later than they are at the time. As long as you can keep moving, you can deal with the pain. But after it sits for a while, it's gonna swell up like a b*tch and get real tight. Let Myles rest this week, and bring him back for a huge matchup against the Vols.

Myles and RSJ sprains looked bad enough for them to miss SC regardless.

However, we haven't beaten Muschamp yet. So can't look past anything.

SARATOGA.

We can look past SCe. They are worse than PVAM. Without the style and pride, to boot.

We can also go ahead and look past TN.

They are a joke.

We will beat them worse than we did Arky.

Have we ever beaten a Will Muschamp coached team?

Ags will lose this game if we look past South Carolina.

Everybody still needs to play, including Myles. He doesn't need to play as much as arky game but still needs to be out there to help our defense set a tone

Players miss games. If he's not 100%, or if he would put himself at higher risk of more serious injury, then by all means I support sitting him.

Looks like RSJ is going to be fine.

What about Evans? Honestly I am more concerned about missing him than anyone else, due to depth issues.

The fact that RSJ walked out in a boot in street clothes tells me his is likely more severe. I can't imagine he play at usce.

Myles I think you sit him until Wednesday and see how he feels.

Evans, I never really heard the final injuries on home other than shoulder early in the game and leg at the end. I would definitely rest EvaNs. We already burned chattmans redshirt, get him some snaps.

If Sumlin rests Garrett, it's because he's hurt, not because we're looking past SCe.

But the truth of the matter is that if we can't beat SCe without Garrett, we don't have any real shot at an SEC title with Garrett.

If he can go, the thought of resting our best defensive player in an SEC road game is absolutely insane to me. That is IF he is capable of playing. Sitting out injured is different. Our approach to this game with personnel should be no different than any we've played thus-far, excluding Prairie View High School. Can't go into this game thinking it's a cake walk...

I'm getting a sick feeling that this might be a very close and tight game.

Too many cocky folks on here and I hope our players aren't acting the same way.

RSJ tweeted his was nothing major. Myles looked like knee or high ankle sprain. Hopefully won't be something nagging for the long term.
