People have been kind of critical and mean. Billy has said that he is going to smack the @#$* out of those who disagree with the quality of some video that I don't know anything about.

So if you don't like that video, you should probably shut it.

Ian is referring to the Brandon Jones video made last recruiting season.

Apparently, a premium poster posted a thread regarding how dumb it made TexAgs look and Billy got very defensive of his staff and business by saying people who believe it made TexAgs look dumb are ignorant dumbasses and he would like to slap the **** out of them.

Although I don't know the entire situation (had a friend send me a screenshot of the post), it's pretty unprofessional, IMO. Personally, I've always had good interactions with Looch. We all make mistakes defending things we're passionate about and I think that's the case here.

I don't know Billy personally, but I have been on this site long enough to know that he is very passionate about what he does. It's this passion that sometimes allows things to get under his skin and cause a reaction. He sees someone questioning the quality or motives of this site as an attack on himself. Rightfully so, as this site bears his name and was built with a lot of his hard work. If anyone actually thinks that Billy and/or TexAgs doesn't want Texas A&M athletics and/or the university to succeed in every way imaginable then you are truly hopeless.

Maybe a tangent here, but I honestly don't understand the rifts that exist between different segments of the fanbase that choose to pick sides rather than acting as a whole. It's that petty shortsightedness that has turned me off from more closely interacting online with other Ags. My 2 cents.

The way these guys are flipping and changing their commitments now days, it does seem a little presumptuous to go all out on an early commitment. It's gotten to the point I rarely check the recruiting threads anymore. I just wait until signing day.

There have been some negative comments about this thread. People have said it stinks and offers nothing. I agree to some extent.

Ear regardless, people have come here and redeemed it with some other good ideas.

And like Billy, I will smack you in the face if you say ONE NEGATIVE THING ABOUT ANYTHING EVER.

TexAgs is a quality site. Saying that it's still heavily relying on the anonymous message board as the communication medium. So that inserts noise and noise creates unnecessary chaos and so on. It's what makes this place so damn frustrating but at the same time what brings lots of people back everyday.
