Thank you guys... thought I was the only one that thinks Tabuyo is a better receiver. Ratley must have something hanging over the coaching staff's head to continue starting.

Ratley did seem to be open pretty consistently though. If he gets over the dropsies, he could be a good asset to an already stacked WR unit.

Agreed. Really hard to stand out in a group like we have, though. Can only put so many people on the field.

Ratley: Probably the starter because he's the best route runner on the team. The dude is open all the time. But it's all pointless when he drops half the balls thrown to him.

Mack: Didn't start last year either. Backed up Walker who's now one more year older just like Mack. Doesn't surprise me.

Myles at 270? Look at Daeshon at 270! Our run defense has to be better this season.

1st team secondary looks like a top 3 SEC secondary. Second team... yikes.

I think you are being a little over-dramatic here.

The only real issues staff has had with the Oline was the first class Sumlin signed. All three of those guys washed out after the first year or so. That was addressed by the two Juco signings who just so happen to be the starting tackles. Looks like staff addressed that issue pretty well. There is also talk that Gennessey may very well continue the streak of 1st Round draft picks. So again, how did staff completely fail???

If you are talking about the inability to sign 5-star guys, the only ones we ever had a shot at in recent years were the two from last year and there were a lot of extenuating circumstances with them ranging from the abortion that the Christiansen hire was (should've hired Turner a year earlier and that is Sumlin's biggest mistake wrt Oline) to the influence that handlers and high school coaches had on them.

Seems like the guys that have been recruited the last couple of years have been pretty decent if not super highly rated as they are pushing for starting spots.

Sumlin has had two abortion hires at OL - Anderson and Christensen

That is hard to overcome in recruiting.
