North Dakota State vs. Charleston Southern, 6:30pm on ESPN. Who's watching?!

Cue the 'that's not real football' and North Dakota jokes.

For those who don't know NDSU has won the last 5 FCS titles, and has beaten their last 5 FBS opponents (including defending B12 champ K-state). They play at Iowa later this year which will be a tough one to win.

A&M related because NDSU's president, Dean Bresciani, was VP for student affairs at A&M a few years ago.

As the chart on another thread reveals, North Dakota produced no D1 players this recent year. Thus, Bison success notwithstanding, ND does indeed seem to be a football desert.

Not sure when the data was pulled, but that's not accurate. I see at least two on the map.

Also realize that many of the NDSU players had FBS offers to ****bird State, but would rather play for a winning program with tradition and a great fan base like the Bison.
