I like both Verne and Danielson.

Maybe in part to the stuff we have had to deal with in the past, who knows, but I enjoy the broadcast with the two of them.

Verne has been slipping the last few years. Not able to keep up with all the play on the field. Time for him to head into the sunset.

Nessler is a great addition to fill his shoes.

I love Verne. Unless I'm blind, I don't care if he has a few flubs per game.

Danielson is 100% mendacious at times during broadcasts. Liars are contemptible.

Musburger was annoying as hell with his blatant bias but never intentionally lied.

Verne has called my two favorite moments in sports. Tigers chip in on 16 at Augusta and 2012 Bama.

This makes me sad.

Musberger, Lundquist and Danielson (call sign MOLD) are all brand name guys. Schools like A&M who are on the rise after escaping another of MOLD's favorites, tu, aren't worthy of their attention.

I'll never forget how he called the TAMU / JFF victory game vs. bama in 2012 - the day after my best friend died.

Probably re-watched that game more than any other in my Ag history.
