Our QB position is a huge question mark over the next 4 years. You have to go back to Stephen McGee for a QB that was ranked higher than Starkel out of HS that started a whole season.

In between that time you had 2 first round picks in Tannehill and Manziel as well as a solid player in J. Johnson.

As for Mastro, we are really thin at LB. I doubt he contends for all conference or we see his name called on Sundays, but we are desperate for just some average LB's at this point. Maybe a year will allow him to turn into that.

Wouldn't be surprised if Mastro makes huge strides under Chavis as well. He's in a very different position than when he first came in.

Bwill had the god givens: size, speed, athleticism.

Mastro may have the heart of a champion, but he is way undersized and slow as Christmas. Only so much Chavis can do. Not like he is an undersized linebacker with the speed/agility to move to safety.

I am with ClassOf17 - Chavis is :The Man: for a reason. And I believe the LBs ((including Mastro) will be better this year because of his influence.

Won't hurt to have a Top 10 (or better) D-Line in front of them, either.
