The press specifically asked Tunsil about the messages, and he answered "yes, those was true, like I said those were a mistake and they happened."

The reporter followed up with the question "So was it an exchange between you and the coach, for money?"

Tunsil answered "I would have to say yeah"

Don't know why everyone thinks this is a big deal. The NCAA will do very, very little (maybe nothing) to Ole Miss. Maybe ban them from a bowl game for one year. Maybe take away a few scholarships. BFD.

I'm sure any Ole Miss supporter would trade the success they've had recruiting and on the field for a one-year bowl ban.

My understanding, and I could be wrong, is that each program has an NCAA approved fund for kids and approval to use it for specific issues. If a kid's mom dies and he lives across country, they can buy the kid a plane ticket to send him home and get him back. That type of thing.
