It is obvious Von cares about others and is comfortable with them. He appears to be as "himself" at the top of the mountain as he was (this is an assumption, but I feel pretty confident in it) when he'd jump in his old truck and run up to the convenience store in CS. He's a great football player, but he's still people.

Many, if they even begin to approach his stature, think they've not only entered the aristocracy but come to believe they were born to it.
