Tom Herman of Houston is an offensive genius. Looking back at this guy's track record, he has had amazing offenses wherever he has gone. He even put the Rice Owls offense on the map when he was coaching at their school.

Time to hire Tom Herman to run the Aggie offense!

We all know the "national" coaching search doesn't leave Harris County.

Not drunk, Tom Herman won the Broyles award last year as the best assistant coach in America. He also has a National Championship ring on his finger and really knows how to run offensive schemes.

Urban Meyer was quoted as saying he even watched some of Houston's offense recently to see what Tom Herman was doing that they could do successfully.

Sumlin was a former Aggie coach as well. Some head coaches make excellent coordinators!

Sumlin inherited tons of talent from Briles at UH. Herman had nothing. Ags need to pick him up before tu does next season.

Given how A&M does with head coaching searches, he probably will be Sumlin's replacement.

I assure you, Tom Herman wouldn't have only scored 3-points at Ole Miss, even with a backup quarterback. Just look what he has done with a 3rd string quarterback at Ohio State with his offensive scheme.

At Houston, he is scoring in bunches with a converted wide-receiver running his offense .

At Rice, check out the results when he was the offensive coordinator and he coached a guy named James Casey, and put him on the football world map.

Well, to be fair, Sumlin wasn't calling the plays at UofH. I believe that was KK, and his O is putting up more points than us at this time.

I love the people that somehow think the fact Sumlin was at UH somehow reflects on Herman. Herman has never worked with Sumlin. The fact they both coached at UH is coincidence.

I'm not advocating firing Sumlin but if he were to leave (USC?) then Herman is at the top of the short list (yes ahead of Fuente).

The difference is, Herman is winning with 2 star recruits from the Tony levine era, where as Sumlin had many many good players that Briles recruited. On top of this, Herman has shown he can recruit very very well....just look at what he has done at UH. Just watch, before it is all said and done you'll see a UH team that went 7-5 last year be in the top 10 in 2-3 weeks. Also, Herman has an absolute NO BS policy. Just last week he made players AND staff run suicides because their lockers were messy....
Just look into how he runs his program and you'll see that him and Scumlin are VERY different.

Looks like Houston is moving up in the polls...I know its just Vandy, but many thought Vandy had a good defense until tonight

He would be an excellent one.

I support this movement. After the debacle of the QB last week I'm done with the Sumlin train. We could have fought for the win by changing QB. He wouldn't because he didn't want the story to get out about Kyler. He quit on the team and program.

He has a 2.2 million buyout. I know A&M has money but that is a ton for a coordinator.

You guys do realize that Sumlin scored at a greater pace at UH than Herman does, don't you?
