15-0 in non-conference games (including the 3 bowl wins)

3-0 in non-conference road games (at SMU twice, at Shreveport 2012)
3-0 in non-conference neutral site (Cotton, Chick-fil-A, Liberty)

8-4 in conference road games
1-0 in conference neutral site (Arkansas at Jerryworld 2014)

it's been a remarkable and historic run of success for the football program away from Kyle under Sumlin. Let's hope it continues tomorrow night

Sumlin is very good in bowl games
the SEC is good
and A&M has played a really bad ooc schedule

He is off to a good start but we've slid back each year and haven't won a single big game at home yet.

That will change this year! We will win 10 games this season.

a few more notes and streaks...

as the old Ags remember...the Astrodome started as a chamber of horrors for the maroon-n-white. A&M lost its first 5 games played in the dome. Finally breaking thru in 1986 vs. UH.

fortunately A&M (under DeRuyter) started its history at Reliant/NRG Stadium much better with a win in the 2011 Car Care Bowl. The Ags will look to make it 2-0 at Reliant/NRG vs. ASU.

overall A&M has not lost a game in the City of Houston in 25 years. (1990 vs. UH in the dome)

the program currently has a 7-game winning streak in Harris County. (91, 92, 93, 94, 95, 01, 11)

the program also owns a mini 4-game winning streak in domed (roofed) stadiums:

- 2011 Car Care Bowl
- 2012 Cotton Bowl
- 2013 Chick-fil-A Bowl
- 2014 Arkansas at Jerryworld

another note about Sumlin's non-conference record...it hasn't been all tomato cans. Seven of the 15 wins have come against teams that finished with a winning record:

Oklahoma (10-3)
Duke (10-4)
Rice (10-4)
Louisiana Tech (9-3)
Rice (8-5)
SMU (7-6)
West Virginia (7-6)

all right, after another great win away from Kyle...let's update the numbers:

A&M improves to 16-0 in non-conference games under Sumlin; and this win over ASU should go down as a quality one.

The program continues to own H-town. A&M posts its 8th win-in-a-row inside the Houston city limits. The 25-year streak remains intact. 2-0 at Reliant/NRG stadium now. I believe the Ags are next scheduled to play in Houston in 2018 or 2019 vs. Rice.

the Ags also run their domed/roofed stadium win streak to 5 games

and for perspective...during the 9 years of the Fran & Sherman eras...A&M won a grand total of 18 games away from Kyle. Those were rough, rough days for the traveling Ags

and the Ags run their domed/roofed stadium win streak to 6 games

I believe yesterday's win also gives the Ags a 5-game Metroplex winning streak -- all in the Sumlin era

Imagine how great we would be if we could any FREAKING games AT HOME in conference!!
