The Black Friday rivalry. I wish the Kyle games would be on Friday too. There is no competition for a prime time game on rivalry weekend.

Thanksgiving Day should be exclusively for Texas. For LSU I would take 11am Friday over Thursday & prefer Saturday to Friday. I think A&M v. LSU gets a prime time slot 4 out of 5 years, & is only an 11am game 1 in 20 years.
9 games would be very foolish in the current environment. It ultimately hurts the SEC's strength of schedule by a statistically significant margin (just as it has the Pac-12's). It actually reduces the number of broadcast games by a fair amount, especially the kind of games the SEC Network thrives on. It reduces our ability to schedule quality P5 non conference teams. The list goes on.

Saturday every year. Let go of thanksgiving; the NFL thanksgiving schedule isn't the same as it was in the 70s 80s or 90s.

The Aggies and Tigers could become something special if they became a Friday night staple.
After five years of Friday nights, it would be something college football fans across the country would come to view as a tradition.
Plus with Friday night being the game, the traveling team could eat a nice, relaxed Thanksgiving meal at home in CS or BR and then board a plane to the game city.
I really like Friday for this rivalry. Just do everything possible to ensure it being at night.

I agree but most Ags are stuck on a thanksgiving paradigm...some hoping, though they won't admit it, that the old g/f comes calling...

That's one of stupidest ideas I've heard in quite a while. Why would you trade one neutral site for another? College football was meant to be played on campus.
Trading two of the most intense college football venues for a neutral site seems an unfortunate choice. We're not going to make more progress in the Conference by insisting on changes that favor us. Make this work and give it time...
We don't need another neutral site game. Would prefer this game to be on Friday after Tday since Thursday is now really a full NFL day and Saturday the focus is the Iron Bowl.

I like the neutral sight game as it will become more of a staple rivalry for us. We need to keep beating them preferably when the press keeps falling in love with their run attack and we still find ways to win. If we keep it up and win 7/10 then it's basically a showcase to Dallas kids why they should play and we can ensure that we get a ton of unofficial visits that weekend too.
Tday is dead for college football. College football lost that long ago to the NFL. A Friday night matchup with LSu would be great. Bring it on.

We Arkansas fans would much rather this game be home and home as well. Hate to be the one to point this out but the contract calls for four extensions at five years each if both schools agree. Possible 30 more years in Dallas. The current contract ends in 2025 Jerry got an extra year tacked on for moving it to home and home for two years.

Why can't we just start playing the Frogs in jerruhworld every year and go back to home & home with the hogs? Perfect solution to me.
We have TCU coming up in 16 &17. Play that at Jerry world! Every SEC team would love to play there for a two game series.

If you don't play the game on thanksgiving then move it to Saturday like all the rest. Friday night is stupid for the rest if the country.

The Arkansas game in Dallas was a great idea when we were in b12...awful event as a conference game...whether it is 2024 or 2025...it better end then...NO extensions...the Dallas exposure is beneficial to the pigs...A&M has plenty of exposure everywhere in Texas...
