Most unbiased would say his article is obvious. But unfortunately locally in Texas. We have too many papers and outlets with ties to UT-Aus. They will always spin A&M as the early 2000s A&M and uncle Rico history smack. They have Bama arrogance without the history and fanatical support.

This is a large part of the problem. Many on this board are happy that A&M is "winning" the war because 8-5 beat 6-7. Winning means winning an conference championship, consistently playing in major bowls, ultimately winning a national championship. What has happen in the last ten years is not that A&M has begun doing this thing it is the UT has stopped doing them. That's not an A&M winning it's simply Texas losing.

Most of the "fanatic" Texas backers I know have gone on radio silence and are spending more time monitoring their stocks; they just don't want to talk about it right now.

I expect this situation to obtain indefinitely, so long as A&M doesn't mistakenly help them out of their troubles.

The W/L record tells a fraction of the tale. 8-5 in the 'Big-12' is probably equivalent to 5-7 in the SEC West.

A&M had a few good wins last season, and then stuck it to a Big-12 'upgreyyed' in their bowl game. This was after a season where the DC flamed out and was canned, and we switched QB's to a true frosh mid-season. Sure, much work needs to be done in Aggieland, and I dont think many Aggies viewed the year as very successful. We upgraded coaches and added studs at positions of need. Next year I expect 9 regular season wins. That would be the equivalent of being 1 of 2 'One True Champs' in the pissant Big-12 league.

You mention whorn losing. Why is that? Your squad has been thumped by Baylol for what, 4 years in a row? Why do you think whorn isnt getting as many stud recruits anymore? Hmm. . . .

It is this "unity" that makes the SEC strong. That is why the BDF will not survive past the GOR for t.u. will be the first to start a new round of the realignment "wars" but this time, the joke will be on them for no major conference is going to want them. They are poison.

I would prefer our articles roasting the sips be better written.
