there can be a balance of both. Having joke replies doesnt prevent conversation. Both can be had. The people that whine about the jokes are worse than the jokes. Is every conversation you have with friends and coworkers absolutely serious and void of any tom foolery? Its freakin college football. Lighten up

There are plenty of threads on the first page currently that are rife with AFR talk. There are some jokes sprinkled in, but there are very few of the "texags inside jokes" on them. And this is a slow period for football talk, what would you have us discuss?
Why worry about this when we have real problems to worry over? Like how we're going to get those cranes off the field and the relocation of our bats.
Collard = Mallard Duck = Vader, so why no Vader threads?
