I would love a system that would allow you to prepare the climate for when you got home. Temp, lighting, and sound. I know you can program temps for normal schedules, but it'd be nice to be out and about and just turn the heat on before you head home so it's all warm and comfy when you get home. Same for lighting and entertainment equipment.

How about being able to turn on my gas grill and adjust the temp to get it warmed up? Same for the oven, to get it to preheat?

I would like to automatically program my kitchen to have dinner ready when my family gets home. It would have to have pre-programmed recipes from the likes of Paula Dean, Bobby Flay, Giatta, etc. When it runs low on any items it would automatically order the groceries online so we wouldn't have to go shopping for food. In the morning it would cook breakfast with recipes from Cracker Barrel, Denny's, and IHOP. It would also be nice for it to be completely self cleaning. A built in sound system to play background music would be nice as well. The music could be programmed to go with the type of food that is being prepared.

You guys do that, right?

So I like the water hot when I wash my face and shave in the morning, but the water heater is at the other end of the house. So I have to let the water run for like a minute and a half. It would be nice if that was automated when I woke up.

I'd like one that inventories supplies... groceries, light bulbs, air filters, etc... could have a bar code reader and just scan stuff when you get it and when you take it out... will generate alerts when you need something. I.E. wake up to a phone alert that says "You have two 60 watt light bulbs out in the upstairs play room. You have three light bulbs in your stores. Would you like me to order you more?
