Great job sumlin. Have a kid that all but wants to come here and you can't close the deal. Sumlin will be gone within 2 years. Proving over and over he's not big time.
This past year has really made me question Sumlin and **** like this just reaffirms it. His inability to take charge and enforce change is killing us on the field and is beginning to hurt recruiting

The kid listened to sumlin who had nothing to offer regarding a dc.
When is national signing day? Can't he still flip if we hire a good DC?

Malik wants to go to the NFL.
Strong is a good defense coach and will coach him up, good technique.
He will be going against Big 12 offensive lines, not SEC - so better stats.
Sumlin has never been known to have interest in putting a good defense on the field.
Sumlin still does not have a DC, could be a stud DC or DC from South Florida.
A&M defense has made it quite apparent they were not being coached the fundamentals of defense.
Plus, parents influence.

tu had one 4 stars decommit this week and another just announced he's going to switch to auburn. Sorry Charlie!!
The game with West Virginia just got a little more important. We've lost coaches, we've lost top recruits we had in the bag a few weeks ago, other decommits could follow, we still have no answer for DC, and most importantly the door was left open for the horns to gain more traction. We stump our toe against the bottom of the big 12-2 and we are in trouble.
Malik also is in tight with other recruits. ..this one could get ugly
