Never watched any highlights of him, so this may be Germans. I also haven't posted a link before, so someone please help a brother out if it doesn't work.

Most highlight videos show lots of TDs and can get kind of boring, IMO. I wasn't that impressed for most of it until about the 5:15 mark, where he is running into the end zone, and could've gone in untouched, but decided to pause and mollywop the poor DB and knock his mouthpiece out.

I checked out video of him for the first time today too. What I noticed most about him is his speed once he puts it in high gear. He's got LOTS of it! When he's not in high gear he is quick and shifty. Stops and starts and goes in any direction.
He played two ways, offense and defensive safety. At offense he was typically at receiver but quite a few times he lined up as a running back and they gave it to him (or threw to him out of the backfield). He looked good lining up back there and performed at the rb position excellent. Versatile positions - get him the ball!

I mean Speedy's tape looked like that, but it was Louisiana, and we know what kind of football is there. So Speedy was running away from FAST people and making them look bad.

I'm not saying Kirk isn't awesome. But you have to consider the competition.

He reminds me of Ryan Swope or Wes Welker (yes I know he is black.) except he has better juking abilitly

Agreed. He appeared to play against a lot of terrible tackling. But, even so, when a kid breaks 6-8 tackles, that speaks a little about his shiftiness.

He is Manzelish in some of his runs, jukes like T Will and the speed of, well, Speedy.

Sparq score of only 129. That's lower that deunte chapman.

Haven't checked the site all day and I get this great surprise. Wow, Christian Kirk.

I really like this guy. I know people questions his competition, but when he was at the camps against top guys, he was the best out there. Made everything look VERY smooth, very easy. Never looked like he was working hard, yet he was always the fastest, always working easy, and always producing against the best. His tapes were fantastic and i think this is a huge pickup. He just gets so much separation no matter who lined up against him. He was ALWAYS open, no one covered him.

Good gawd he makes kids knees just buckle while zipping around them.

I hear you, but Kirk is in the running for GOAT of AZ. Speedy isn't in that running for Louisiana. Hell, he wasn't even the top recruit out of Louisiana his senior year.

He has incredible acceleration. Looks like he gets to top speed in 3-4 steps. We'll see if that translates to the SEC.

Also seems he is pretty strong when it comes to yards after hit or "second effort" plays.

that film is like watching the ducks play... wide open receivers that are just way better athletes than everyone around them.

Will be the greatest smoke screen receiver of all time.

So to sum it up.....

His QB made some great passes as well.

Wow, this guy is the real deal.. His stats this year are unreal! He is a true rb/wr/te hybrid badass... Kickoffs/punts, rushing, receiving... His vision is sick. Welcome aboard son!

Yeah, him and Kyler seemed to click really well at The Opening 7 on 7.
