I've seen our defense. Some crappey offenses have scored almost at will on us.

Even if he did. That would be spread out over 12 drives. They don't have an the ability to pass. So unless we have a crazy amount of turnovers we'll be fine. I doubt he gets that much. He's no Jeremy hill.

With Robinson, alaka and Garrett back, we'll be fine. They are easier to stop than Arkansas and Mizzou.

What's lost is that two years ago, when LSU didn't have a passing game (but still better than this year) mark Snyder played 9 in the box and really shut LSU down for the most part. I actually think we hold our own.

There's no need to throw the ball when they can pile drive us off the ball even with 9 in the box. Plus LSU's defense has had our number even with Johnny. LSU scores first and has no need to put the ball in the air for the rest of the game.

Fournette is an absolute stud. He will be great. He's very good now.

I did. With 4 of our front seven out hurt. Also, the scheme is much more difficult to stop than LSU's

Everybody needs to realize that in the 3rd quarter we lost Washington, alaka, and walker. On top of that no garret or Robinson. Now we will be w/o walker will be a big loss having mastro out there, but we can hang with them as long as our offense can run the ball effectively

Mizzou can't run or pass but they gashed our defense.

You know guys the offense/defense matchups don't worry me as much as Sumlin vs. Miles. We play big games well MUCH less consistently than LSU. Not that we won't take it to them, but I'm not sure we match their intensity from the jump.

They are going to run the ball right at us because that is their offensive identity. If we get gashed for 200+ on the ground it will be a long night.

Just to ease your mind a bit, LSU's starting center is out for the season so o-line play is still in question entering this game like it was going into the Arkansas game. On top of that, a starting corner has been suspended indefinitely. LSU is down 2 of its 4 best corners. Expect to see a lot of S Jamal Adams in man coverage vs wide receivers.

This looks a lot like the threads from before the Auburn game. Does anyone have any money left that they're going to use to bet the house on LSU?

To the folks who point out we were an unforced fumble away from losing to Auburn: If the roles were reversed and the AGS had fumbled the game away, would you have cut them any slack? No, of course you wouldn't. But you're more than willing to treat an ACTUAL victory as a defeat. Why?
Point is, there is lots of data on both sides. Why anyone here who claims to be an Ag should CHOOSE to pick the data that makes us look the worst absolutely mystifies me. Support your dang team. And if you can't find it in your heart to do so, then just shut up. Either one is acceptable.
