Bonehead Play of the Week - Presented by Boneheads

Was it Les Miles pulling another rabbit out of his hat? Or, was it Hugh Freeze making a boneheaded play call by taking his field goal kicker off the field with a chance to tie the game and send it to overtime in Death Valley. The resulting play ended with an intercepted pass and a big loss for a top 5 ranked team in the country. This is our Bonehead Play of the Week!

Definitely Hugh Freeze's bad there. Gotta kick that field goal in that situation. It was gutsy though, and I like the idea of going for the win, but it's just not the smart play there.

Hughe fouled up by getting the delay call. It reminded me of Les, but when Les pulls this crap it seems to work for him.

When the play was stopped short of first down, and there was an opportunity for a 42 yard field goal, the field goal unit should have been on the field. Smart coaches would have this already called.

Ole Miss must take the field goal. Not good planning.

The delay of game penalty obviously help to set this all up.
