If Mack jumped around as much as Saban did and bailed after 5 years, he would be leaving an 11-2 team, along with the recruiting class that ultimately went on to win the Rose Bowl and MNC 3 years later.

And no one is comparing Mack to Saban anyway, but Saban has never stuck around long enough to see a program face problems becoming stale. It happens to every coach who stays for a long time. 16 years is a very long run.
