Vanderbilt abstained on the principle that they didn't want the SEC to expand at all. No animus towards A&M or Mizzoo, for that matter.

Loftin at least got over on Sharp and proved that he has way more smarts and business sense than the "comptroller/chancellor". Everyday Sharp is still chancellor is a black day in Aggieland.
