2010 Season vs. 2014 Season:
Started out with an early potential Heisman dark horse (JJ vs KH)
Won against a couple early cupcakes but also played pretty terrible against one (FIU vs Rice)
Lost 3 straight games in a row
3rd loss was a complete lack of effort, embarrassment game (Mizzou vs Bama)

Check out that write up, you'll see some familiar sentiments. Any yes 30-9 (30-3 before garbage time score) is different than 59-0, but a pissed off Bama team is a lot different than a big 12 Mizzou. Either way, I remember leaving that game with the same feeling I had after Saturday, wondering if our players even wanted to be on the field that day, and everyone around the program was calling for changes
Throw in an easy game to get our mind right (Kansas) and one big change (switch from JJ to Tanny), and our whole season turned around. We started playing above our ability instead of below it, and we rattled off 6 wins including #9 OU and #9 Nebraska, and ended in a tie for the Big 12 South
I'm not saying we WILL turn it around, all I am saying is college football is an emotional game played through the highs and lows of 18-22 year old kids. We may lose every single game on the rest of our schedule, but we were all saying that same thing back in 2010 as well. There is a lot of football left to be played
