Arkansas is very, very close to the point where those mistakes don't happen, and Arkansas wins this game 42-21 like it should have.

Was that drop by Kennedy in the 1st also the same play that worked in OT?

quote:yes we ALLLLLLLMOST lost. if arkie could have just strung together a FEW more plays. maybe they'll "tighten it up" before next year and play the perfect game.
PFlat sure is talking a lot of **** about a game we almost lost.

I just disagree with Bielema's 1970's approach to football, and I was laughing at the pig analysis of "ALMOST PULLING OFF A WIN!" lighten up, Francis.

I guess that's why he's coaching big time football and you are taking potshots behind an anonymous user name. Never fear, you may get your shot at Florida next year. Polish up your resume.

However, the drop on 3rd down before the missed FG was huge and the grass monster getting Pope was huge.

no, you're not. but it's okay to keep thinking this way, hawgs.
the problem with your coach/offense/philosophy is that you need to execute multiple 10+ play, 8+min drives for scores. since you don't have a deep threat other than breaking thru a goalline defense for a 50 yarder on 3rd & inches. so you have to execute a BUNCH of plays in a row w/o a mistake. no penalty, no TFL...every play has to work perfectly to get the 3.4 yards needed to sustain the drive. hell every BLOCK has to be perfect! one slip up and you're behind the chains and you can't recover.
and here you are with a 3 page diatribe/analysis of how if you JUUUUST executed a FEW more plays you'd TURN THE CORNER!!! HELL YOU MAY EVEN BEAT BAMA!!!!
the offense is flawed. the philosophy is flawed. you have to be able to recover from a TFL or a no-gain or a penalty SOMETIMES. but you can't. b/c every play is designed for 3.4 yards.
you guys played a NEAR PERFECT game and still lost. and your post is about how if you'd have played a PERFECT game you would have won. ok, I'll agree. except that you probably can't ever play a perfect game.
