Let us assume for the moment that any poster on texags is either a sunshine pumper or a pot banger.


Therefore: Total Number of Texags Posters = Num Sunshine + Num Pot



According to your formula then....


Num Sunshine + Num Pot / # Texags Posters


Num Sunshine + Num Pot = Num Texags Posters (from therefore statement above)


Hence

OP Formula
# Texags Posters / # Texags Posters, which of course EQUALS 1 EVERY ******* TIME.


So unless you're assuming that posters are more than either a sunshine pumper or a pot banger and are making a statement about the number of wishy washy ags we have, then please refer to above to understand why your formula is no good.

If we do, in fact, assume that OP intended that there are all number of different types of texags posters, this is what follows:


Assume that a texag poster can be either

A) Sunshine Pump
B) Pot banger
C) Fan of another school
D) Aggie Troll
E) Troll from other school
F) An Aggie that doesn't give a **** about football
G) An Aggie that is wish washy about how they think the season will go


Assuming these are the categories of fans above, let's now apply OP's equation.


(Num of Pot Bangers + Num Sunshine Pumpers)/Total Texag Posters

If OP believes this ratio to be very low, what he is instead saying is that our board has been taken over by a bunch of trolls, fans of other schools, and people that aren't passionate about Aggie football. Because, let's be honest. Sunshine pumpers and pot bangers are clearly the most passionate fans.
