Cannon can be towed up the ramps by a truck, gator, 4 wheeler, golf cart, or manpower. It will also fit in the freight elevator. The time it takes to get from the ground to its firing location is not significant.
What you say, agnerd, is true, although the freight elevator would be easiest and safest - wouldn't want to tow a howitzer up a ramp full of people. (Actually, the freight elevator is big enough to hold '02, the 75mm pack howitzer, and the 105mm howitzer with room the spare.) However, the gun being used has to be placed on a scaffold that is about 10'-12' high - straight up, no ramp. Going up the ramp or the elevator? - not happening for '02 or 75 pack howitzer. Your idea (using the freight elevator and some manpower) would most certainly work for the 105, and there's plenty of room on the tower mezzanine for it!

The 105 is larger than either the '02 or the Pak 75 and was not tested last week. It will either be the'02 or a Pak 75 on the tower.

It will be the Pack 75, not '02 on the tower. However, the 105 has been fired during every test (4 total). Yes, it was fired at the base of the SE tower, but not at the top, during the last test. I was just saying that there's plenty of room on the tower mezzanine for the 105 - set it up, elevate it to point over the wall, and pull the lanyard. BOOM! No need to buy another gun, IMHO.
