2nd to last place has allowed 4.5 per game and has given up fewer total sacks in 4 games than SMU has given up in 3. There are 125 teams in FBS. 116 of them give up less than half the sacks per game that SMU does.

Every team that SMU has played thus far is in the top 7 nationally in sacks.

Baylor 2nd - 5/game
North Texas 4th - 4.75/game
A&M 7th - 4.25/game

The fewest they have allowed in a game was 4 (against 2-2 North Texas). Only 3 other teams average more sacks per game than that overall.

Lol, baylol is only top 5 in sacks because they have only played sh** for opponents thus far. I am again not impressed with baylol, regardless if they score 100 a game, until they play someone worth a damn...which inevitably they will choke against.
