Saw earlier on Twitter that Points is no longer with the program. Anyone have any information on when this occurred and what happened? I thought he had some potential and you had to love those flowing locks...

I noticed that in his mug shot he seems to be trying to grow an AJ Hawk-like mane, perhaps to counter the fact that his name clearly implies he should be a basketball player.

The arrest might've been part of it, but the writing was on the wall with our talent on DL... adding Zaycoven Henderson doesn't help Points either.

Perhaps he'll get a new start at SMU?

It's always interesting to look back after a few years and see which recruits end up making names for themselves, which ones you never really hear about, and which ones you realize aren't even on the team anymore.

Points is another casualty of war. I remember some being optimistic about his future here. Not so much I guess!

I think you're thinking of Jay Arnold. Both went to my high school though... I think the last player to go to an AQ program was a running back to mizzou. It was gonna be nice having two guys to root for...

It says that he was a freshman in the SEC. Johnny and Mike redshirted, it's not an insult to a players ability.

We weren't even competing with them for recruits when we offered Points. It was a stupid offer, even at the beginning of last year.

I never understood why we took him in the first place. Lots of people were excited about getting him but I thought he was slow and would be role player, at best.

Lived with the guy for the semester... Good guy... Things just don't click for everybody when they are 18 and stepping on to campus for the first time... Sure didn't for me... Just hope he finds happiness in whatever he does whether it be football or something else
