I don;t disagree with where hill will lead us, but it will have more to do with the overall talent on defense being much better than it will be because Hill is better than Manziel.

Tee Martin was not a better QB than Peyton Manning, but Tennessee won a national championship with Martin but not with Manning, because the UT team was overall was better when Martin played that one year.

Despite all the accoldaes and criticism given to Qb's these days, football is still the ultimate team game - it takes more than one great player to have a great team

Yes, we may do more as a TEAM, but the subject of this thread is that Hill will be better than Manziel and that is laughable. The reason we should do better is hopefully the defense in the coming years will have a pulse.

Wait until people say Jockel has one more year. Yes I get it JFF was good but it's time to move on. It's the sign of a good team. And yes I do think Kenny Hill will be a better player

Granted, Hill isn't JFF, but some should go re-watch his HS championship game performance and see that Hill will be better than most realize (better arm strength and runs well enough). He has the talent to be successful, but will depend on him competing for the job (mental aspect if he really wants the starting job).

Kenny Hill will definitely have a better defense behind him which should make for better team success.

These people that continually post that Kenny Hill is better than Johnny and demanding coach to play him are most likely Southlake natives.

We've been spoiled with Manziel, who plays like the GOAT.

The times I've seen Hill play, he's been very, very good. He will mesh with the offense and we will not miss a beat.

We are lucky to have Hill.

I think the offense will be better looking with Hill. Johnny passes up open receivers looking for the big play a lot. The ball comes out quicker with Hill and the offense looks like it is designed to be run. Johnny is a gunslinger. But then again that is what makes us love to watch him play and makes him like someone we have never seen before. I get the feeling Manziel drives Sumlin crazy as a coach. There are a lot of "NO, NO, YES" coming out of Sumlins mouth coaching Johnny! Hill will run the offense the way Sumlin envisions it.

More likely that he never even starts a game. Cool thread though.
