So, the remaining item/question in inside the stadium.


  • On the west side are they going to cover or paint the blank sections of the cutouts (and put the aTm logo on) as in the renderings.
  • The west side section that has the WELCOME TO AGGIELAND, is this going to get the same covering that is currently on east side 3rd deck facade and what are they doing with the WTA lettering? As it stands it looks like a watermark you can barely read....

I'm guessing all this gets completed as a package deal with the East side re-do of the HOME OF THE 12TH MAN lettering (ie. all vinyl decals provided by same vendor), but only when the new letters are ready to be installed.

I think we can all agree that the first midnight yell and the first game were both legendary. Really neat to finally experience the new Kyle Field first hand. Thank you to Scotch, McGibbs, Fitch and the others, for providing pictures and information on this redevelopment for both phases. Here's to a great season in the brand new Kyle Field!

Looks like New KYLE is getting its rocks off to our great start.

Thanks to all who provided the great pics of the construction process over the last couple of years.

Now, maybe, the COSC department will have a" how to" for KYLE to demonstrate instead of the library as a "how not too" when I was there. A. Long. Time. Ago.

Don't care about the maroon tower lighting as much as the east lettering and covers / paint for the concrete cut-outs above and below 50 yard line suite areas...

I was meaning to wrap this thread up right after the first home game, but that never happened since I was banned.

First of all, special thanks to Scotch, Fitch, and all the other posters who were always out collecting photos.

Second of all, thanks to everyone who participated in the thread. Aside from people constantly asking how the cranes would be removed, there was a ton of great insight and discussion.

I really did enjoy getting these pictures and posting them here. Kyle Field is quite possibly my favorite place on earth, and I know many people on this forum feel the same way. It was great being able to keep y'all in the loop. I also had some great opportunities from this. From just walking in to football press conferences, to Obioha offering to show me around the locker rooms the day after they were revealed to the players, I'll have plenty of memories that I won't forget
