today Nixon announced his resignation. 1st president to do so. He lied to the American people about Watergate and then there was 18 minutes of missing tape recording. Now every scandal has "gate" added to it. Times have changed. Deleted emails, Benghazi, unsecured classified documents. Where is the media outrage?

Politicians now care more about party power than American power. Neither party has a Goldwater who won't sell out the country before the party.

I don't think Trump cares anything about party power. If he won and every single other Republican lost, he wouldn't bat an eye.
And Trump is not a politician thus the appeal of an otherwise awful candidate.
