Hurt it about 10 days ago. Thought it was better and played golf yesterday and this morning had trouble putting my socks on. Other than rest, heat, and ice treatment, is this just a waiting game? This blows.

I feel your pain! Just over 2 months since I hurt mine and it's still not back to normal.

Are you thinking it's a muscle strain? My issue is a L4-L5 nerve impingement and nothing has given me much relief.

Sorry to hear - I know exactly what you're going through. Just now feeling good again after hurting mine ~5 weeks ago. These stretches did wonders. 3x daily.

If you'r like me and it hurt to even try to roll over or sit up in bed start with that very first one (knees to chest) before moving.

Don't push beyond what your body will do. If it only goes a little, don't force it any further. After 3-4 days of this routine I felt a ton better.
