2003 Tundra, 50k miles (original engine).

Codes: P0441, P0442, P0446

What's the most likely problem, and how should I proceed? The codes are all related to the evaporative emission control system. And yes, I have reset the codes a couple of times and they are coming back. Need to pass safety inspection ASAP as well.

Are you in an emission tested county? If not it won't matter to the TSI

I watched the video. I looked under my truck.

Question: once I get the solenoid out, what kind of contraption do I need to test whether it is working? How do I get 12v through it? I don't have the device that the guy has in the video.

got the solenoid off, tested it with a 9V battery. It functions. (Darn!!!!).

My gas cap isn't very old, but I guess my next step is to buy a new gas cap. And if that fails, then pay for a smoke test.

There wasn't a hose that was obviously bad.

No help here but how the hell do you have an 03 with only 50K on it?

I bought it from my dad who didn't drive it much (rode his bike to work). And then we used it as a third vehicle mostly.
