Wife's 2013 Ford Explorer XLT (3.5L v6) threw a CEL and read code P144A. Any ideas? My limited research looks like an EVAP canister or canister purge valve, but referencing other models.

EVAP issue.

Could be fuel filler door or filler neck. May be covered under warranty (check manual)/

Assuming you're out of 3/36...maybe powertrain or emissions warranty covers this.

Thanks 1ags. I ran across this Youtube video on troubleshooting the canister purge valve and am experiencing the same thing. So I ordered a replacement off Amazon and will report back.
