Srt-4's would be fun beaters. IF you could find one that was not all "Fast and Furious". Aka, bull**** mods and stickers

While those mods are useless, those cars were pretty darn quick.

Plus 146 isn't that fast. I once topped my old 160 hp Civic out at about 138 on 290 back in high school. That car has 100+ more hp than I did.

Fun fact, you can set the cruise in a C6 at 135 mph.

Max speed is a function of the aerodynamics, not the engine size.

That and a Civic's speedometer isn't accurate to 138mph, so...

With enough power, you can go very fast.

I believe when VW wanted to increase the top speed of the Veyron by 3-5 MPH, they had to increase the HP by 400 or so.

Weight has nothing to do with it?

A one cylinder engine can get you going. Aerodynamics is your friction.

There was an article I read about a bike contraption that could hit 100 mph and, in theory, would have like 2,000 MPGe due to little energy required to move it.

Look up the bike speed records. They routinely hit 70 mph.

Same rules apply.

Depends on your ball bearings. It's all ball bearings now a days.

146? That's it?

I've buried the speedo in several of my faster vehicles, including the GTI ( 180 is highest measurement, IIRC).

In Mexico, of course.

Damn. I got mine to 95 once and blew the head gasket.
