Meet our first Bugle Call recipients of the 2016 football season: Johnette '70 and Jon Jarvis '68. The Aggie couple was named Parents of the Year in 1999 and has supported their children during their time at Texas A&M, all while spreading the Aggie Spirit to anyone and everyone they encounter.

The Jarvises have exemplified the Aggie core values of excellence, integrity, leadership, loyalty, respect and selfless service, and continue to give back to the university they love so much. Johnette and Jon's passion lies in the Aggie Ring Scholarships program, which began with their own Aggie ring endowment established in 2007. Since then, the Jarvises have spearheaded a program that provides financial assistance to students who can't afford their Aggie rings, with more than 70 students receiving rings through over 53 endowed Aggie Ring Scholarships and a general Aggie Ring scholarship fund.
