Does anyone know when the HOV lanes on I45 North from 1960 to Conroe are going to open? I haven't seen anyone out there working on them in over a month. Just a waste of open space on the highway right now.

Been wondering same thing...just drove southbound woodlands-1960 and they are opened up! I saw them pulling barriers heading northbound as well I believe. Seems like today may be the day!

northbound still closed after lunch...southbound sure as hell looks open but havent seen anyone on it yet.

The bus drove in the southbound HOV lanes this morning. Definitely helped, as the main lanes were stacked-up well before where the HOV used to start. I think where it will really help is the northbound hov extension in the afternoons.

That one was still closed yesterday.

I used southbound on Sunday before the Texans game.

Cruised at 80mph untl the HTR. Very happy they added HOV on the Nawfside.

It appears southbound is open. Northbound has not finished painting, needs to be swept and I think some more signage as well.
