My wife and I are looking for someone to take over our 1br/1ba apartment at the City Place Midtown complex (within 5 min wak to Midtown bars & restaurants). It is ~ 800 sq feet with 2 sinks, 2closets, and balcony. We absolutely love the convenience of living here, but just need to move to be closer to my wife's job. I am willing to work/negotiate with anyone interested (help pay part of first months rent, help move your stuff in, etc).

I think my last apt was under 700sq ft and it wasn't bad with my then GF.

Disclaimer: Now were 3, about to be 4 (and 5 every other weekend) in 1,300 sq ft and it's not too bad.

The living space is great, especially with 2 large closets and a smaller closet. Also has a study area. It is the Bowery floor plan. If interested, feel free to PM or text and we can work something out.

i lived in a 900 sq ft apartment with 5 people for a year, so 2 in 800 sounds pretty ****ing great

When I lived in midtown... amili&metro midtown and the Camden you could have a 2 bedroom for around $1500 or so, maybe less at first. Now I imagine that's what a 1 bedroom in a similar property would go for. And those were very passable, nicer units with decent pools and secure parking garages at the time.

Now I don't even wanna know what a 2 bed will go for.
