Unless we pull a Save the Bird that saved Freebirds which I'm too young to remember, Kays is going the way of Blancos. It's going to be knocked down and turned into something else. Maybe even townhomes.
It's been quietly for sale for a year but finally sold. Guess the cash flows from the bar don't overcome other uses of the property.
I'm gonna miss it for sure but the capitalist in me says that's how things go.
