This is a bit of a long story, but my coworker's stolen iPad is on a Loomis armored truck. He has tracked it all over the east side of Houston and even confronted the drivers of the truck. The drivers just ignored him when he tried to talk to them.

He has given all the information including the tracking information to the police, but they say they cannot search the truck without probable cause. (Why the heck is the tracking info not probable cause!?!). He has also called Loomis and they said they would "put it in a report."

The 3 screen shots below show path in the Baytown area. They stopped at multiple Walmarts, a Chase bank, Amegy bank and a few places at the mall. And it is now currently at the Loomis building.

Let me know if you want the full story. I can get you in contact with him. This is just too crazy to give up on. The guys who are in charge of an armored truck are thieves!

Get this on the news. Maybe Loomis would do something about it then.

I believe agproducer works for abc 13. I could be wrong though...

You think agproducer's colleague's/superiors know or care that a chief resource of his/hers is Texags.

I'm assuming your friend gave Loomis and the cops the long backstory and their response was they'll put in a report and there's no probable cause?

From what I have heard....
The iPad was stolen out of his truck at his home in Baytown. He has been tracking it and trying to get a home location. Finally figured out that it was going to trucks office every night. Tracked it to a bank. Watched as the tracking dot moved and followed to another location where he confronted the two guys. They claimed they didn't have it, he showed them his phone tracker....guys walked off and continued in their business refilling atm machines. Tried to get the cops to help but can't search an armored truck.
