Yep...having hwy 6 and Eldridge open for traffic was fun while it lasted. Guess we will be back to everybody in West Houston trying to drive down Barker Cypress for another week or two.
I'm in OKC , with the flight delayed as the airport is closed. Can someone call IAH and tell them to either open the airport or close it, so we can get off this plane? TIA.

Low point of Eldridge is at 96.3', low point of Hwy 6 is 96.0'. Current water level in Ad****s reservoir is 96.19' and rising again. If it doesn't close them today, it probably will within the next couple of days if we keep getting more rain.

Hwy 6 southbound, right most lane this morning was flooded and apparently either cars stapled out or idiot drivers smashed into each other. If we keep getting 1.5"/daily it'll be closed again. Fun while it was open.
Yea, I finally took it this morning at 5am and saw a guy in that lane slam on his brakes. Luckily there wasn't anyone behind him.

I think this thread title is a curse on the city. Bad weather seems to always be coming tomorrow.

He's employed but looking for a new employer after 13 years with that company.
