I have a chair from my grandmother, in great condition but want a fabric update and updated stain on the wood/caning.

Any recs- ? I got one quote for $800 and thought it was very high considering that structural the chair was in great condition.

Awesome. That would be great. The chair and ottoman belonged to my dad and are one of the few things I have left from him.

Thanks for the recs. I'm planning to buy fabric from high fashion fabrics. I'll check out the guy in Montrose.

Third Coast- does your neighbor do refinishing and tufted. The chair has caning, so it may be a tougher piece to work on.
