Anyone have any good docs in the greater Katy / West Houston area? Cinco Ranch Pediatrics is closing down for some reason.

Any specific experience with Wimberley?

Our little one isn't here yet but we talked to several and went with Blue Fish Pediatrics in the Memorial Hermann complex at 10 and 99. Dr McCorvey. She's an aggie too

We are tentatively going with Blue Fish once they shut the doors at Cinco. As an FYI, my wife emailed our doctor and she let us know that some of the doctors want to keep practicing in Katy and will update us once they figure out where they are going.

We're still in shock that Cinco Ranch Pediatric is closing. We're waiting to find out where the doctors land because we are hoping to follow Dr. Ecroyd or Dr. Batchelor to their new practice.

Strange. There were multiple physicians why couldn't they carry on the practice.

Janet Pate. She is in the Westchase area with Texas Children's. She came recommended by several other Texas Children's pediatricians. She was chief resident back in the days. I'm not sure she takes new patients but you can try.

The owners "medical emergency" "forced" them to sell the property and evict everyone within 60 days. Which I'm sure was the least amount of notice they could have been given in their contracts.

Dr. Lentsch apparently sold the building a few months ago. She had told the docs at CRP that she was looking for a new building.

We are doing the same. Dr. Ecroyd has been great so far, and is obviously still shocked that she just "laid off". She told us she had some options, and one could be starting her own practice with Dr. B. She did say that she will be staying in Katy.

Texas Children's Pediatrics-Cinco Ranch has excellent doctors, but have taken on too many patients. Wait times are exceptionally long and sometimes you can't get through on the phone to make an appointment.

We've never had an issue with wait times. Honestly, we are usually in the waiting room no longer than 5 minutes, and about the same in the exam room. That's the one constant we've heard from friends who also use(d) CRP. Maybe it depends on the doc, I'm not sure.

Not sure if I understand your OP or not but are you looking for a Pediatrician in Wimberley, TX also? Dr. Pruitt, an Ag, is fantastic if so. (Wimberley Pediatrics)
