So my Pops and Mom are coming into town tomorrow and reallllly want to go eat at China town....which is great bc I love to get down with the Chinese. There's just something about chopsticks and duck and hot n sour soup that just really makes me and my gut oh so happy!

Tiger Den if they want ramen (That's a soup). If you want to stick to chinese then head to fufu (yes I know they were in the paper for some bad stuff). One of my favorite chinese restaurants. Banana leaf and mamak are great malaysian. Those are all a good start.

Confucious is good for seafood and a good deal for lobster.

Mala is incredible.

I'll sell my soul for a great dumpling. Where is the best in the tine?

This board does bfast tacos and burgers all the time. I've never seen a Chinese discussion.

I like every place I eat on Bellaire. Fufu was good, and Banana leaf also good. I have a Chinese son, so we get over there a fair amount.

Hard to go wrong in that area. Fufu's good. Singh Singh has decent seafood. Banana Leaf for Malaysian.

FuFu has awesome dumplings and a lot of varieties.. Mala just has one - red oil dumplings - but they are incredible.

Shanghai in the next strip center over from Mala is really great also.

Chengdu style prawns
Dan Dan noodles
Stir fried spinach with garlic and chiles

Fu Fu:
Pork and chive dumplings
Orange peel beef
Salt and pepper squid
Hot and spicy chicken
Pork in garlic
Sauted shoot vegetables

Where is the best Peking/crispy/aromatic duck?

Go to that place that hangs their ducks from the trash dumpster and grease bin. Very authentic to Beijing!

Why is this thread still going, Mala is the best place to take people in china town..

Lucky Pot is a really good lunch place.

San dong noodle for dumplings and noodle soups. Low rent but best pork n leek dumplings.

Mala Sichuan is hard to beat overall.

Xinjiang BBQ for a good take on Chinese charcoal cumin lamb skewers.
