WHAT?

Took my son to brunch at Ruggles Green a couple of weekends ago. It was ok, but they do have $7 bottomless mimosas. My friend's go-to is Black Walnut Cafe. The Blue Mug Cafe is also supposed to be good.

105 Cafe in Conroe is good.

Yeah the Nut always does the job for me

dosey doe was very good if you can avoid the buffet they introduced a while back. that kind of put us off so we haven't really been back since.

that's been gone for at least a year now. their dinner wasn't any good but can't speak for breakfast.

Glad to hear the neighborhood cafe is worthy of a recommendation. I've stopped in there twice...once for a croissant and they were completely sold out of everything in the bakery case. The second time was for an early lunch with my son. It was about 11:15 and the menu said lunch service started at 11. The server told us they wouldn't serve lunch until 11:30. I was put off (we were in a hurry and I wasn't interested in waiting), so we haven't been back.

I heard a rumor that a Panera Bread may be going in at the plot that was cleared between the HEB and the fire station. I'd hate to see the local place squeezed out by a chain.

It's The Woodlands. Just go to Le Madeline or Starbucks

I can recommend Tuscany (inside Marriott on the waterway)- excellent breakfast buffet.

i just miss Strack's so much. it was so good for breakfast. maybe it was that coffee

Is there anything in the Woodlands that can compare to that?
I see most mexican restaurants do not open for breakfast

For Brunch, there's Hubbell & Hudson Bistro $$$ or Hubbell & Hudson Kitchen as a cheaper option.

Fieldings and Jasper's have good brunch menus. I haven't made it to Del Frisco's Grille in Hughes Landing yet, but I've heard good things.

That's a good question. I'd love to find a good breakfast taco place in The Woodlands.

Sunrise taquito in spring on 2920 is the closest I've found

While technically Tomball, Mel's is close and usually pretty good.
