The restraunt and patio are a nice addition at karbach, but the majority of the 'tour' area I s still covered outside.

Saint A is inside and usually ass jammed, although I haven't been in a while.

It helps both joints run tours all day & week now.

And St Arnolds has 5 times more reviews. Hardly a fair comparison.

My tastebuds tell me just fine that Karbach has the lead.

None of us do. We all like what we like. However its only an unpopular opinion TA.

St. Arnold's just has better marketing, that's all.

Karbach's Staycation and Weekend Warrior are some of my favorite beers, and I've had lots of different brews.

I'm no beer expert, I just like the taste of Karbach better.

St. A's has years of gimmicky marketing and brewery events on their side.

I feel the same way. I am far from an expert, but I prefer not to drink Karbach after trying several of their beers multiple times. SA on the other hand taste great to me. I don't love them all, but I love some, like most, and enjoy trying their new offerings.

the new Brash Brewing tours will include a full free 80s arcade and Pantera playing over the sound system

That paired with some pints of P*ssy Wagon IPA, sounds like a mighty fine time

One novice opinion. I buy moreKarbach, but Elissa IPA is pretty great. That and summer pils.

Went to Saint Arnold's once place sucked.

Between Karbach and SA, I go with the one that's on sale.

If they are both on Sale, I usually pick Karbach.

It seems that the folks that think Karbach is better are the folks that like the hoppy bitter stuff. I prefer the other end of the spectrum and think St. Arnolds is better. Karbach hasn't done much on the malty or darker side of things, where as St. Arnolds has some good stuff out there. Even the Karbach Oktoberfest tasted like hops in a blender with a splash of brown beer.

Sympathy for the Lager would probably be your Karbach. Its on the malty side of lager, in my taste.

Yes, that is what gets me. Every single beer tastes like a hop explosion. Usually that's a good thing for me. I love IPAs, but they just don't do it for me.

What he wants is Hellfighter.

And if he's lucky enough to find bourbon barrel Hellfighter he might just jizz in his pants.

Sympathy, Love Street, Weisse Versa and Rodeo Clown come to mind as far as every day Karbach offerings as far as not overly hoppy.

Yall are crazy saying Rodeo Clown isn't hoppy.

SA Amber is my every day beer but I like both breweries. Is that ok to like both?

It's hoppy but definitely sweeter & most than most DIPAs

I love clown, but not what I think of as a hop forward double

I still drink the fugg out of several saint A offerings, but with all the new good stuff coming out around tine, they have definitely fallen down the list

Saying that Sympathy and Rodeo clown are on the malty side, or aren't hoppy is just a very good demonstration of how far off the bitter hoppy ledge folks have gone. They may be on the malty side of the genre, but they are still hoppy as F. Weiss Versa is not hoppy, but has the weird spice thing in it. I enjoy one, maybe two, but I don't want 6 of them. Their Love Street is about as hoppy as I can stand. Barn Burner is pretty good, but again, I only want 1-2, not 6.

I am eagerly awaiting St. Arnolds Oktoberfest. They usually release their seasonal about a month before the season.

To me insanely hoppy should be the default for all beers

MBL is right, Rodeo Clown has an IBU of 85, that doesn't come from Malt.
