quote:I feel the same way. I am far from an expert, but I prefer not to drink Karbach after trying several of their beers multiple times. SA on the other hand taste great to me. I don't love them all, but I love some, like most, and enjoy trying their new offerings.
I'm no beer expert, I just like the taste of Karbach better.

It seems that the folks that think Karbach is better are the folks that like the hoppy bitter stuff. I prefer the other end of the spectrum and think St. Arnolds is better. Karbach hasn't done much on the malty or darker side of things, where as St. Arnolds has some good stuff out there. Even the Karbach Oktoberfest tasted like hops in a blender with a splash of brown beer.
